Athlete’s Thread, powered by Greek House & College Thread, has officially announced the plans to partner with the University of Pittsburgh on their University NIL Athlete Merch. This partnership will give all student athletes at Pittsburg the opportunity to create merchandise with Athlete’s Thread. You read that right, every single athlete.
University of Pittsburgh Launch
In the upcoming weeks, we are planning on launching with over 247 athletes, within 5 different sports at the University of Pittsburgh. The sports that will be included in our first launch are: Football, Baseball, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, and Women's Track and Field. Our goal is to launch with every sport and student athlete at Pittsburg. Every athlete who signs up to work with The BrandR Group, can sign up to work with Athlete’s Thread.
We are excited for the opportunity to work with the University of Pittsburgh Athletics Department and to continue to work together with the licensing department at Pittsburg. Our custom merchandise offered for the student athletes at Pittsburg will embody the university brand, but also the athletics culture at the University of Pittsburgh.
How Athlete’s Can Sign Up With Athlete’s Thread
More than a name, more than a number. Our mission is to provide more than just the star player merch. We want every athlete to opt into our program to have a full merch store and experience just like any other player. Athlete’s Thread currently works with 15+ Universities with their NIL merch at the time of writing this, and will continue to expand at various Universities and product offerings to expand on all NIL opportunities as the space grows.
