Athletes Thread Partners with Oklahoma State University to Launch NIL Merch Program for All Athletes

Athletes Thread Partners with Oklahoma State University, The BrandR Group, and their collective Pokes With a Purpose to Empower Student-Athletes through NIL Merchandise Opportunities

Athletes Thread, a leading full-service NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) merchandise company, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Oklahoma State University (OSU), alongside group rights partner, The BrandR Group, and their Collective, Pokes With A Purpose. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the revenue opportunities for OSU student-athletes by leveraging the power of co-branded merchandise featuring official university marks.

The partnership represents a groundbreaking approach to empowering student-athletes to maximize their revenue potential through the sale of co-branded merchandise. Athletes Thread will provide each participating athlete with their own personalized online merch store, showcasing officially licensed products featuring their name and number on every item. Each athlete will have a comprehensive collection available to their fans and supporters including t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, sweatshirts, bomber jackets, mugs, fashion shorts, and hats.

Furthermore, Athletes Thread's dedicated team of over fifty full-time designers will work closely with OSU athletes to create customized designs, offering even greater opportunities for revenue generation through NIL merchandise. The initial launch includes 159 OSU Athletes and 5,450 products. Among the initial designs are custom caricatures featuring notable athletes such as Daton Fix from the wrestling team and Alan Bowman from the football team, exemplifying the creative possibilities available to OSU athletes.

"We are excited to embark on this journey with Oklahoma State University to empower OSU student-athletes through NIL merchandise opportunities," said Luke McGurrin, Co-Founder & CMO of Athletes Thread. "Our goal is to provide these athletes with the tools and resources they need to maximize their revenue potential while representing their university with pride."

This partnership marks just the beginning of Athletes Thread's commitment to supporting OSU athletes in maximizing their NIL opportunities. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, Athletes Thread looks forward to implementing additional initiatives designed to further enhance the revenue potential for OSU student-athletes through NIL merchandise.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a prestigious university and our esteemed partners to support the OSU student-athlete community," added Luke McGurrin. "Together, we are committed to driving positive change and empowering student-athletes to thrive both on and off the field."
