Boca Raton, Florida - Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has partnered with Athlete’s Thread to launch a line of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) merchandise for the Men’s Basketball Team. This new partnership will allow fans to support their favorite players and purchase FAU co-branded merchandise.
The program will feature an NIL jersey and other merchandise co-branded with FAU. The partnership aims to include all student athletes, with Alijah Martin, Jalen Gaffney, Alejandro Ralat, and Michael Forrest already part of the program.
Alijah Martin had an impressive season, with 26 points and 7 rebounds in the SDSU game of the final four, and an average of 13.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in the regular season.
Despite a loss in a buzzer-beater thriller, FAU is hopeful about the future as they come back from their first-ever Final Four. This is yet another great opportunity for student athletes to monetize their NIL and connect with fans through merchandise and memorabilia.
“We’re excited to kick off this partnership with FAU. What better way to do it than celebrating a very successful season for the Owls,” said Karthik Shanadi, Co-Founder & CEO of Athlete’s Thread.
The merchandise will be up for purchase until the end of the 2023 school year.
